A letter to Father
Christmas From Sonte R22
Dear Father Christmas,
I liked the presents you got me last year. Can you get me a remote control shark. I will leave some cookies and some milk and carrots. The carrots and water are for Rudolph and the reindeer too and the cookies and the milk are for you. I will leave the TV playing and a blanket on the couch so you can have a break if you want to. – From Sonte

Memories of
By Selena Room 7
Yes! Today we are going to Santa’s cave. My sister Tiriata was a little bit shy to talk to Santa Claus but Santa’s tummy wasn’t big so Santa must of lost some weight. My sister asked for a scooter because her scooter broke. I asked for a little pet shop because they are fun to play with. When we went in we looked at the puppets. They were moving and I looked at one. That puppet was building a house for Santa. My sister Tiriata wanted to go on the merry go round. The big kids that went on had to pedal while the little kids sat back and relaxed. After that we watched the monkeys playing
the guitar and one was playing the drums.

A message
from
Dear Parents, Caregivers and school community.
A main focus for the board this year has been the
appointment of our Assistant Principal
More recently we are very pleased to have three new parent representatives on the board which brings a good broad base of experience and support for our children.
The end of the school year is when we, as a board of
trustees, get to hear the reports of our childrens’ achievement in literacy and
numeracy school wide. This is the opportunity
for us to see the improvements from testing that occurred at the beginning of
the year. I can assure you that very
definite progress is being made by our children which is a reflection on the
specific programmes and reviews that are implemented by the teaching staff at
Thank you to all staff and to the board of trustees for their time and commitment to ensuring the continued support of our childrens’ learning.
To all our school community have a happy and safe holiday time.
Finally
As my first year as
Principal of Central Normal School draws to a close I would like to thank
everyone for making it so positive. A
huge thank you to our P.T.A. This is a
special group of parents who work in so many ways to make our school special.
I would like to thank Murray
and the Board for their wonderful leadership of our school. We have an excellent Board who make very good
decisions for us.
